What was xpand?

xpand ran from April 2005 to March 2007 helping businesses focus on the tangible benefits that broadband and ICT offer as a business solution.

In total it reached over 2700 businesses, and provided help and support to over 1400 to further identify opportunities, and solutions to deliver real bottom line results. The project provided funding to over 260 businesses across Dorset to enable them to adopt technology.

Evidence has shown that businesses using ICT perform better and have more opportunities for growth. To read some of their stories please click here.

Funding

Matched funding for ICT & Broadband related projects has now been exhausted and there is no future funding on the horizon.

Is help still available?

The xpand project has ended, however If you are a business owner, senior manager, or have responsibility for ICT in a business based in Dorset, there are still a wealth of information resources including case studies available for download.
